In this role he manages the day-to-day research process of S&P’s 65 equity research analysts in the U.S.
Prior to this position, Mr. Biggar was Director of Financial Institutions Research and principal bank equity analyst for Standard & Poor’s, covering major regional and money center banks. He has been widely quoted on banking related matters by publications such as American Banker, Forbes and Money Magazine, news services including Bloomberg and Reuters, and has appeared on CNN/FN and CNBC. Prior to joining S&P, Mr. Biggar covered financial services equities at Argus Research Corp.
Mr. Biggar holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Rutgers University. He is a member of S&P’s Investment Policy Committee and S&P’s Senior Portfolio Group.
